Fastbraces® in Bournemouth
Would you like beautiful straight teeth in just a few months?
Fastbraces may be your answer!
What are Fastbraces®?
FASTBRACES® are a fixed brace system that works differently to other conventional brace systems as it uses patented triangular brackets and wires, which move your teeth and roots together- unlike other systems that move your teeth first and then the root. The main benefit of FASTBRACES is how quickly and safely they straighten your teeth, not only’ fast’, but they’re also discreet making them a popular choice with all our patients. More complex cases may take up to one year to complete, but the majority are completed in only 20 weeks creating the beautiful smile you have always dreamed of!
How do Fastbraces® work?
By moving the roots and the teeth together treatment time is greatly reduced. FASTBRACES® innovative brackets and wires combine to create a gentle force that straightens your teeth. A retainer will also need to be attached to the back of your teeth or worn to maintain your beautiful smile on completion.

Are Fastbraces® very visible?
You will be pleased to know that Fastbraces also make clear ceramic brackets that are almost invisible.
Are Fastbraces® removable?
No, Fastbraces have small brackets and wires that are attached to your teeth until the end of your treatment. If you are looking for removable braces, we recommend ‘Smilelign’- which are very popular clear aligners.
Can I have treatment if I have crowns?
In principal this is possible, however, you would need to discuss this with the dentist for a definite answer.
Will my teeth remain straight?
The dentist will explain what retainers are in your initial consultation. As part of your treatment you will have a fixed and/or removable retainer which will stop your teeth from moving back into their old position. If you break or lose your retainers, you must contact your dentist as soon as possible as your straight teeth will move.
